There have been many thoughts passed on to me about people’s preconceived ideas on what they will be buried in. Often I am told ‘I don’t want a coffin’, or ‘just put me in a cardboard box’, or ‘I just want a shroud’, or ‘I don’t care I’ll be dead’. Everyone needs a coffin or casket to have their body transported anywhere
Preparing for your own funeral is nothing more than a sign of love and appreciation to your friends and family, giving you a chance to leave a legacy they will remember and treasure forever. I often get told it’s ‘morbid’! It’s really facing our mortality, embracing it and then living life
There is nothing wrong with preparation. Surely leaving the hard decisions to family during an already difficult time is not a good solution?
From personal experience and discussion with people that were grieving the imminent loss of a loved one came Jennies business of passion – Last Expressions.
