Around a table with friends, the topic of funerals came up. Why can’t we have more say? Surely there are those that want to express their individuality to the last moment?
The answer for me was YES! From that conversation came the idea that I wanted to give people the opportunity to do just that!
Create your Last Expression
Last Expressions® has designed Australia’s first registered design Flat Pack Casket. It is our goal to give you the opportunity to add your character and essence to your final resting place. You can make it as fun or sombre, bright or calm as you want – whatever matches who you are and what you stand for in life. Why not involve your family and friends? This is an opportunity to open up that can of worms and share stories and feelings while you make your masterpiece.
Life is about being yourself, accepting who you are and being proud of YOU. Life also gets too busy, so actually passing on your wisdom and character can be hard. I’d like to give you the opportunity to do both. I can document your story and you can decorate your own casket.

We can help you record those wonderful moments that have made you who you are. All the highs and the lows that have impacted you in ways only you can describe. To be passed on for future generations to admire and learn from.
Flat Pack Casket
Our caskets are made of pine and ply in a design that makes it easy for you to build yourself. Everything required is supplied, including easy to read instructions. Should you decide that construction is not for you, we can assemble for you.
Decorate and Personalise
The sky's the limit! Ideas are endless! Express yourself! At Last Expressions® we also offer timber tattooing for your design, or we can help with ideas. There are examples in our Gallery. Be creative, talk to our timber tattooists.
